We're looking for a Property Accountant, working in the Real Estate industry in Boston, Massachusetts, United States.
Preparing monthly reporting package for management including balance sheet, income statement, bank reconciliations, various accounts reconciliation.
Assisting with quarterly and yearly reporting packages as requested.
Assisting with period and year-end audit packages as directed.
Assisting with input journal entries into Yardi as requested.
Preparing and reviewing coding of invoices to ensure accurate posting in general ledger.
Preparing and maintaining necessary continuity schedules for properties (prepaid, accrual, security deposit sub account tracking).
Approving invoices, reviewing aged receivables and research discrepancies.
Preparing cash requests for respective properties.
Reviewing and tracking all construction accounts and reclassified finished projects.
Updating fixed asset and depreciation schedules with all monthly additions for respective properties.
Uploading third party financials.
The pay we are offering is 80,000 per year.

Experience Required for Your Success
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
1-3 years of property accounting experience, multi-family residential experience is preferred but not required
Advanced computer skills (MS Excel, Powerpoint, and Word)
Systems proficiency with property management and accounting software
Experience with Yardi is preferred but not required
