The Opportunity

We're looking for a Planner II, working in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry in Auburndale, Florida, United States.

  • Purchases, reviews and monitors purchase orders.
  • Communicates new orders to vendors via email or EDI.
  • Resolves errors on purchase orders as needed by collaborating with Vendors and Receiving.
  • Ensures that materials being brought in are in compliance with Company standards.
  • Adjusts purchase orders as needed.
  • Reviews reports for stock outs and expedites open orders to fulfill scheduling/production.
  • Reviews inventory reports to ensure levels are accurate.
  • Maintains, monitors, and revises essential system planning data through MRP in P08 to ensure SAP system is effectively planning future material requirements.
  • Maintains material and/or finished inventory levels within the parameters set through inventory policy by monitoring levels and continuously making adjustments to future purchase orders as necessary.
  • Understands storage space constraints and plan accordingly. 
  • Understands quality requirements on fresh ingredients and plans accordingly.
  • Monitors the age of stock's reports to avoid risk of slow moving and obsolete material.
  • Reviews historical usage and utilizes software tools to support the operations plans and customer demand of the plant. 
  • Analyzes and evaluates upstream processes to secure materials to reduce costs to the KO system.
  • Synthesizes data and identify problems through operational and financial analysis to improve operational and financial performance
  • Ensures that the SAP system is creating demand signals sufficient to drive supplier production planning.
  • Maintains tactical execution relationships with supplier production and distribution points by sharing information regarding quality and delivery failures.
  • Ensures availability of material requirements for all new products and package launches. 
  • Coordinates run-out of materials and/or ingredients for all package sunsets.

The pay range we are offering is 24 to 27 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • 2+ years of related work experience is required
  • SAP P08 experience is required
  • Proficiency in MS tools is required
