The Opportunity

We're looking for a Chemist I, working in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.

  • Performs complex chemical analysis on raw ingredients intermediates beverage parts final products auxiliary materials and water.
  • Maintains laboratory equipment and instrumentation (e.g. troubleshooting conducting preventative maintenance calibrating and repairing).
  • Conducts inspection of the laboratory or laboratory procedures to ensure conformance to internal (e.g. The Company Quality System) or external certification requirements and corrects or eliminates process-related non-conformance items.
  • Disposes of expired retained samples and chemicals according to schedules and expiration dates in order to keep lab area clean and safe.
  • Develops or validates laboratory test methods or equipment (sampling monitoring analytical procedures) in order to ensure reliability and accuracy of analytical results.
  • Performs data audit in order to ensure accuracy of data and analytical processes.

The pay range we are offering is 24 to 28 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.
