The Opportunity

We're looking for a Cook, working in the Healthcare Systems & Services industry in Annapolis, Maryland, United States.

  • Prepare food for patient meals, cafeteria, special functions and off-site facilities.
  • Plan workflow to ensure tasks are met on time and review special functions of the day.
  • Prepare the cafeteria cycle menu and train new attendants on hot food production for patients and cafeteria.
  • Test new recipes being considered for inclusion on the menu.
  • Use patient census and previous cafeteria sales and forecast quantities of foods to prepare and items needing advanced thawing.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 year experience in quantity food preparation
  • Must be able to read, write and make simple calculations and follow written and oral instructions
  • Must be available for weekend and occasional evening work
