The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for IT Service Technician, working in IT (excluding Telecommunication) industry in Lockport, Illinois, United States.

  • Working scheduled field appointments for service tickets installing/servicing as needed.
  • Completing some tickets opened at the service desk that requires a site visit.
  • Helping other members of the team with tickets that are beyond them.
  • Being up for the occasional reschedule in the middle of the day to handle an issue that merits such action.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills, in addition to excellent customer service skills and the ability to assist and train end-users
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to listen and to communicate effectively and persuasively with individuals, and in presentations to groups
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in a group setting
  • Ability to provide remote support to end users over telephone or screen sharing
  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines on multiple tasks
  • Proficient with End User Devices – PC, Laptop, Tablets, Windows, Android, IOS
