The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for Logistics Coordinator, working in Manufacturing industry in Chicago, Illinois, United States.

  • Coordinate with clients around the country for partial and full load needs.
  • Negotiate with clients to ensure cost effective rates.
  • Conduct research into cost of delivery.
  • Analyze potential profits of each prospective new account.
  • Troubleshoot any problems in transit or at point of delivery.
  • Communicate with the sales team to ensure client needs are met.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma/GED required. Degree in Business Administration,Logistics or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics management required. Working knowledge of legal regulations and ISO requirements.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
  • Good management and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
