The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a
Level 1 Production Worker, working in
Consumer Packaged Goods industry in
440 Mission St, Carol Stream, Illinois, 60188, United States.
- Rotate assembly line “work stations”. Move to other lines according to production needs.
- Check stocks bins for adequate supplies of sub-assemblies, parts. Checks for designated box pack and appropriate label.
- Contact material handler if shortages exist or incorrect boxes are in warehouse bins.
- Check meat temperature ensuring that it meets the critical control point (CCP) and move meat rack into freezer if needed.
- Pack finished product into designated boxes.
- Check all meats being sliced prior to placing into bags for color, odor, foreign objects, shredding or anything unusual.
- Resolve assembly and packing problems.
- Report problems to production Supervisor for assistance.
- Maintain clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
- Pre-stamp boxes, bags, and/or retail kits
- Contact material handler, clears stock bins and flat cartons of unused items and prepare for next day production.

Experience Required for Your Success
- Can work independently or in a team to pick, pack, and ship items
- Can safely relocate or repack inventory items as directed, up to 50 pounds in weight
- Can operate machinery or other light equipment as trained in a safe and responsible manner
- Comfortable with reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the immediate supervisor
- Can work on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift
- Is comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipment
