The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a
Quality Manager, working in
Real Estate industry in
Athens, Georgia, United States.
- Ensures
the project team executes the Site-Specific Quality Management (QM) Plan and
engages all project staff, trade partners, vendors, and consultants to follow
the plan throughout the life of the project.
- Works
with project teams to develop, implements and maintains QA/QC measures through
the life of the project, such as work planning, pre-activity meetings, material
management, quality incident reports, and follow-up inspections.
- Assists
project teams in the management of outside consultants and commissioning agents
responsible for QA/QC inspections, testing, and related work.
- Reviews
plans and specifications to ensure requirements are met for each construction
process.
- Monitors
construction activities to ensure compliance with the construction
requirements.
- Validates
project testing and inspections are being planned, scheduled, completed and
documented for third-party testing and inspections.
- Assists
project teams with third-party inspectors and Authorities Having Jurisdiction
to clarify their requirements and expectations to help expedite and simplify
the inspections process.

Experience Required for Your Success
- Degree
in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science, Architecture or
related field or equivalent professional experience
- 10 years of quality management experience on large-scale construction projects
- Ability
to understand and critically analyze important quality elements from
construction documents, submittals, etc.
- Ability
to interpret policy and procedures, including knowledge of contract documents,
specifications as well as the ability to read and interpret consultant reports
Ability to prioritize work and meet project deadlines
- Ability
to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gathering and analyzing
information skillfully to develop alternative solutions
