The Opportunity


We're looking for a Quality Control Microbiology Scientist, working in Pharmaceuticals and Medical Products industry in 20 Dan Rd # 1, Canton, Massachusetts, 02021, United States.

  • Performs routine testing of in-process and finished product samples.
  • Reviews and approves testing results of procedures performed in the department.
  • Writes and revises standard operating procedures (SOP) and develops study protocols to validate production and laboratory methods.
  • Assists with training of production and Quality Control personnel in microbiological methods.
  • Investigates nonconforming test results for product impact, root cause, and evaluates results to provide conclusions and appropriate corrective action.
  • Investigates deviations from SOP requirements as directed by supervision for potential impact to product and materials and derives root cause of the incident.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a biological science with 3-5 years progressive laboratory experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
  • Technical writingexperience along with the QC Microbiology and stability testing experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Planning and organizational skills necessary for primary responsibilities.
  • Must successfully execute requirements to achieve ISO 5 environment gown certification as required by supervision.
