Job description:

  • Design and revise mechanical parts and assemblies.
  • Create mechanical and inspection drawings for manufacturing.
  • Perform tolerance analysis and stackups.
  • Work with partner and vendor teams to create and update designs.
  • Assemble devices and test fixtures.

Experience Required for Your Success

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3-5 years industry experience w/ at least 2-3 focused in mechanical design
  • Experience in tolerance stackup analysis
  • Experience in mechanical prototyping
  • Experience creating mechanical drawings
  • Experience in SolidWorks 3D CAD

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiar with electro-mechanical prototyping
  • Familiar with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Familiar with medical device development
  • Injection molding part design experience
  • Machined part design experience
  • Sheet metal part design experience
