The Opportunity

Description

  • Perform all duties associated with a Control Valve Technician I, with additional technical responsibilities.
  • Locate, interpret, and utilize manufacturer installation and operation manuals.
  • Conduct inspections to identify necessary corrective actions as authorized.
  • Perform Positive Material Identification (PMI) as needed.
  • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot control valves and other equipment following applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Install instrumentation and accessories on valves as required.
  • Operate diagnostic tools such as Valscope and profiler to evaluate valve performance.
  • Calibrate measurement and diagnostic equipment in compliance with internal quality procedures.
  • Measure and record critical dimensions according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and calibration equipment.
  • Familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards.
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Capability to perform PMI testing and record critical measurements accurately.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to valve assembly and testing.
