Coil Winder Technician (1st and 2nd Shift)

The Opportunity
Description
- Perform coil winding on machines or directly into stators, rotors, and armatures
- Wrap coils with insulating tape by hand and apply insulation varnish or enamel
- Cut and fit sheet insulation for electrical slots
- Insert, compress, and shape coils in components using hand tools
- Operate brazing equipment such as induction, resistance, or torch
- Record critical measurements and create wiring/blocking diagrams
- Clean and prep coils before winding
Schedule:
- 1st shift: 6:30am-3pm (OT goes to 5pm) Monday through Friday
- 2nd shift: 10:30pm-7am (OT 8:30pm-7am) Monday through Friday
- OT on weekends in common
Our Client
Experience Required for Your Success
- Minimum of 2 years of winding experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to work overtime and rotating shifts as needed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team-oriented with a collaborative working style
