The Opportunity

Description

Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, overtime depending on the workloads

About the Role:

In this role, you’ll be at the center of our supply chain strategy—working closely with our 3PL partners and internal stakeholders to improve product flow, manage inventory with precision, and champion continuous improvement initiatives that make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of day-to-day operations with our 3PL providers—ensuring efficient delivery, accurate inventory tracking, and streamlined distribution.
  • Monitor and enhance 3PL performance through scorecarding, KPI reviews, and issue resolution.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for product handling, traceability, and best-in-class storage practices at our Market Distribution Centers.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement projects that impact quality, speed, and cost-efficiency.
  • Partner with the Logistics Director to manage budgets, analyze costs, and identify savings without sacrificing service.
  • Help train and align 3PL teams with internal procedures, ensuring compliance with Mars’ standards and industry regulations.
  • Play a vital role in inventory audits, root cause analysis, and reconciliation in accordance with company governance.
  • Prepare for the unexpected by helping to develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies for distribution operations.
  • Document and implement SOPs and internal controls to minimize legal and operational risk.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 4–5+ years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations and inventory management
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, distribution, and transportation processes
  • Six Sigma or Lean Certification (preferred)
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for solving problems and optimizing processes
