The Opportunity
Description
- Set up and operate large CNC/Manual machines (lathes, VTLs, mills) with tight tolerances for Gas, Steam, and Aero turbine components
- Align large rotors and parts for machining, grinding, and runout corrections
- Program CNC machines and interpret complex OEM drawings, REIs, and digital routers
- Apply GD&T and basic algebra/geometry in everyday operations
- Monitor and adjust machine operations for precision and quality
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and machine settings for each job
- Contribute to a safety-first culture and maintain high-quality workmanship standards

Experience Required for Your Success
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- 10+ years of machining experience in both CNC and manual equipment
- Proven expertise in turning OD/ID, grinding, burnishing, and part indication
- Comfortable working with large turbine components (e.g., HSPT, GE10s, Frame 3–7)
- Strong familiarity with steam and gas rotor machining and aerospace components
- Skilled in reading blueprints, specs, and technical documents
