The Opportunity
Description
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Proofreader to join our team and support the review of marketing and mandated materials related to Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, Medicare Supplement, and MMAI programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and compliance of documents that range from single-page flyers to complex 75+ page assets—with multiple variations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and proofread marketing and regulatory documents for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting accuracy
- Verify accuracy of variable data such as premiums, benefits, and plan details across versions
- Ensure consistency and compliance with CMS guidelines and internal standards
- Collaborate with marketing, compliance, and product teams to ensure timely delivery of finalized materials
- Maintain high attention to detail when reviewing multiple document variations

Experience Required for Your Success
Qualifications:
- Prior proofreading or editing experience, preferably in a regulated industry
- Strong command of English grammar, punctuation, and style rules
- Familiarity with Medicare-related products or health insurance terminology is strongly preferred
- Experience working with complex documents and version control
- Ability to manage deadlines and review large documents with accuracy and focus
Preferred Skills:
- Background in healthcare marketing or compliance
- Knowledge of CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) guidelines
- Familiarity with tools like Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, and PDF markup tools
