The Opportunity
Description
- Make mechanical repairs on plant equipment and perform preventive maintenance on a scheduled basis.
- Learn to identify equipment malfunctions and repair them before catastrophic failure. Begins to develop expertise in a specialized skill.
- Operate manual machine equipment or machine shop (Lathes and Mills).
- Interacts with peers, supervisors, and internal/external customers -- may work on special projects with peers from other work groups Ability to read and interpret routine instructions

Experience Required for Your Success
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (Mfg.)
- Sets up, monitors and operates various pieces of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements (Mfg.)
- May operate multiple machines simultaneously (Mfg.)
- May perform quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements
- Work Schedule: First shift (6 am-2:30 pm) Mon-Fri but candidates need to be flexible to work weekends or move to the second shift (2 pm-10:30 pm) depending on business needs.
