The Opportunity
Description
- You will perform maintenance tasks to support Total Preventive Maintenance and Reliability Centered Maintenance programs.
- You will accurately complete work orders, summary reports, and scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
- You will follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comply with government regulations and safety policies.
- You will ensure equipment operates at maximum efficiency, lowest cost, and highest quality, while maintaining optimum safety standards.
- You will troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and take corrective action.
- You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a world-class manufacturing environment.
- You will maintain a clean, organized workspace and manage internal and external customer relationships.
- You will perform data entry and execute transactions using Safeway computer applications.
- You will assist with other duties as assigned.

Experience Required for Your Success
- Must have HS Diploma or GED Equivalent or 5+ years of related experience.
- 2+ years of previous experience in a maintenance tech role.
- Knowledge of valves, valve actuators, gaskets, seals and HTST process.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Computer skills including Microsoft office and Teams is nice to have.
- Knowledge of electrical theory and PLC programming is nice to have.
- Can work 5-6 days a week between 9PM to 5:30AM with overtime required during the busy season.
- Open to start as a temporary contractor without benefits, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
