Description
We're looking for a Janitor, working inReal Estate industry in491 Connecticut, Buffalo, New York, United States.Are you someone who takes pride in contributing to having a clean and safe environment to work in? If so, then we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking Janitor who will perform custodial and maintenance duties on the Wingate residential property located at Buffalo, NY.
Primary responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for keeping exteriors, common areas, vacant units, sidewalks and alleyways of the property in a clean and safe condition. The Porter will assist in other types of basic maintenance and will be a helper / assistant to the maintenance team.
Main Job Responsibilities:
Ensure cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, common areas, model units, elevators, mailbox areas, parking areas and vacant apartments. Additional duties include sweeping and mopping floors as well as general maintenance of appliances and plumbing as well as assisting with painting as needed.

Experience Required for Your Success
Skills, Experience, and Physical Requirements
If you worked in a janitorial or custodian role and have general knowledge of plumbing maintenance and know how to turn on and off power, water and gas and how to utilize a fire extinguisher then we want to hear from you. While not required, if you are bi-lingual and are able to speak English and Spanish, your experience is preferred. We ask that you have a high school degree or equivalent. The position requires a certain level of physical ability to include the ability to lift/move 51lbs unassisted, climb stairs, Bend/Stoop/Squat/Kneel and Grasp/Grip/Turn.
