Description
We're looking for an IT Helpdesk Engineer, working inBPO industry inMakati City, Metro Manila, Philippines.The IT Helpdesk Engineer plays a crucial role in providing technical support to end-users, ensuring swift resolution of IT issues and inquiries. This position focuses on maintaining user satisfaction through effective problem resolution and ensuring seamless computer operations.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to user queries via ticket chat, email, or phone.
- Maintaining user PCs, including upgrades and configurations as necessary.
- Installing client applications, configuring, and upgrading PC software.
- Generating reports and troubleshooting simple tasks.
- Collaborating with IT teams for issue escalation and resolution.
- Assisting with user account management and access permissions.
Experience Required for Your Success
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or arelated field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems effectively.
- Familiarity with both PC and Mac hardware and software.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tickets simultaneously
- Amenable to work on a US/UK shift
- Amenable to work onsite (Ayala, Makati)
