We're looking for an Utilities and Process Technician, working inLight Industrial industry in250 N Route 303 , Congers, New York, 10920, United States.Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain plant systems including:
- HVAC Systems
- Chillers
- High-Pressure Boilers
- Compressed Air
- Purified Water Generation Systems
- Mixing Skids
- Cleanrooms
- Serve as the first responder to maintenance needs of these systems.
- Maintain proper documentation.
- Write reference materials for locating and comprehending technical information.
- Communicate with management, peers, project members, and vendors.
- Write communication for transmitting equipment status, repairs, etc.
- Follow written and verbal instructions effectively.

Experience Required for Your Success
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree or technical school certificate, or equivalent industrial experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a maintenance/manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and flowcharts.
- Use precision measuring instruments like VOM (Volt-Ohm Meter) and AC Manifold Gauge Kit.
- Detect patterns, analyze mechanical issues, monitor and log critical equipment, read meters, gauges, and handheld instruments.
- Comfortable working from heights using ladders, scaffolds, and vertical lifts.
- Willingness to work outdoors and on rooftops.
- Must be physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Follow all safety procedures, recognize hazards, and practice PPE requirements.
- Willing to gown for work in cleanrooms.
- Proficiency in computer skills like CMMS, HMI, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Interface with vendors when necessary.
