The Opportunity

Description

  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues in production and testing equipment, Smart instrument Lab, including hydro testing systems, steam testing systems, and assembly machinery.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components to ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, lighting, and other general electrical infrastructure.
  • Test and calibrate electrical systems to meet safety and operational standards.
  • Oversee electrical panels, wiring, and circuit breakers for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
  • Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers used in testing and assembly equipment.
  • Ensure automation systems are running efficiently to support production processes.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure all electrical equipment meets regulatory requirements.
  • Keep detailed records of electrical maintenance activities, including PM schedules, repair logs, and system updates.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical training or associate degree in electrical maintenance is a plus
  • 3–5 years of electrical maintenance experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
  • Good understanding of electrical systems (motors, wiring, control panels, PLCs)
  • Experience with industrial electrical tools and equipment (like testing tools, HVAC systems)
  • Able to use tools like multimeters and ammeters to find and fix electrical issues
  • Experience with high-voltage equipment and electrical certification or journeyman license is a plus
  • Familiar with industrial testing and automation systems
  • OSHA safety certification is a plus
  • Can operate a forklift; rigging certification is recommended
  • Must be available to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
