The Opportunity
Description
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues in production and testing equipment, Smart instrument Lab, including hydro testing systems, steam testing systems, and assembly machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components to ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, lighting, and other general electrical infrastructure.
- Test and calibrate electrical systems to meet safety and operational standards.
- Oversee electrical panels, wiring, and circuit breakers for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers used in testing and assembly equipment.
- Ensure automation systems are running efficiently to support production processes.
- Conduct inspections and ensure all electrical equipment meets regulatory requirements.
- Keep detailed records of electrical maintenance activities, including PM schedules, repair logs, and system updates.
Our Client
Experience Required for Your Success
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical training or associate degree in electrical maintenance is a plus
- 3–5 years of electrical maintenance experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
- Good understanding of electrical systems (motors, wiring, control panels, PLCs)
- Experience with industrial electrical tools and equipment (like testing tools, HVAC systems)
- Able to use tools like multimeters and ammeters to find and fix electrical issues
- Experience with high-voltage equipment and electrical certification or journeyman license is a plus
- Familiar with industrial testing and automation systems
- OSHA safety certification is a plus
- Can operate a forklift; rigging certification is recommended
- Must be available to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
