The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for an Automation Service Mechanic (3rd Shift), working inManufacturing industry inDenver, Pennsylvania, 17517, United States.

  • Maintain the integrity of the process equipment, through preventive maintenance, process improvement, repairs and service response.
  • Work with the Supervisors to ensure the system is running efficiently. During these duties, the Automation Service Mechanic will be under the supervision of one of the Automation Supervisors/Superintendents.
  • Manage Safety Training and Review
  • Handle Equipment LOTO and PPE
  • Review safe access to equipment
  • Follow fall protection
  • Become familiar with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in inventory cycle counts as needed.
  • Maintain the integrity and efficiency of system equipment through:
  • Manage preventive maintenance
  • Work on the process improvement
  • Handle Repairs
  • Support all other operational needs
  • Provide technical diagnostics and hands-on support
  • Ensure part usage is accounted for, and inventories are maintained
  • Be part of Continuous Improvement
  • Work alongside outside vendors and 3rd parties
  • Maintain effective communications with Operations and internal stakeholders.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Must provide your own hand tools. A list will be provided if offer is presented.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, perform repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for maintenance and service procedures.
  • Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment. Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and heights up to 80ft.
  • Work environment may range in temperatures from 90 to 0 F. Must be able to work in either condition.
  • Mental alertness is necessary to ensure safe and accurate completion of work activities. Ability to read and comprehend all labeling on hazardous materials and equipment in the facility.
  • Must have worked with voltages up to 480 volts. Be mechanically inclined and have mechanical maintenance and repair skills.
  • Able to read wiring diagrams and electrical instrumentation.
  • Ableto maintain and repair mechanical components of the system.
  • Ableto work with PLC controllers and able to diagnose faults and repair.
  • Ableto use and understand computer programs and functionality.
  • Ableto learn new information quickly.
  • Ableto make fine adjustments to controllers, sensors and switches.
  • Ableto communicate, make sound decisions, and work well under pressure.
