The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for a Laboratory Analysis Technician (R and D), working in Manufacturing industry in 4530 Columbia Pike, Thompson's Station, Tennessee, 37179, United States.

  • Plan, design, and conduct laboratory experiments to test the physical and/or chemical specifications of various substances, materials, and products in support of scientific research and quality testing.
  • Estimate the necessary resources and time required to conduct experiments, and monitor performance to ensure targets are met.
  • Collect, prepare, and test samples, recording detailed observations throughout the process.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports that include recommendations, applications, and conclusions based on the analysis conducted.
  • Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on laboratory equipment to ensure it is in optimal working order.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in conducting chemical or biological analyses in a laboratory setting.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording observations and results.
  • Ability to effectively plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a laboratory environment.
