The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Sourcing Specialist, working in Aerospace and Defense industry in SeaTac, Washington, United States.- Partner with internal and external customers in the execution of the sourcing process including assisting in project assessment, developing project/sourcing strategy, evaluating supplier capabilities, and negotiating contracts to achieve financial and quality objectives
- Maintain strong working relationships and communications with customers and suppliers
- Assist in developing, implementing, and managing contracts Interface with all levels within the Company and Supplier organizations
- Work closely with Procurement Buyers and the Sourcing Team to identify sourcing opportunities
- Manages entire life cycle for commodities, including source selection, vendor oversight and asset acquisition / disposition
- Ensure supplier meets or exceeds quality, cost and performance objectives

Experience Required for Your Success
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of buying, sourcing, or related experience, required;
- 3 years preferred Experience in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
- Strong written and oral communication skills required
- Strong team-building and project management skills preferred
- Experience in vendor oversight, including performance management/continuous improvement preferred
