The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Shipping/Receiving Worker, working in Light Industrial industry in 300 New Sanford Rd, La Vergne, Tennessee, United States.Job Responsibilities
- Mark pallets with identifying store information.
- Receive and count items in a warehouse inventory and records the data either manually or on a computer
- Adjust or correct Inventory in various warehouse locations
- Audit inventory through warehouse along with orders for stores
- Use the computer / RF to enter records.
- Use equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.)
- Keep work area neat, clean and hazard free.
- Require to use a handheld radio frequency device (R.F. Unit)
- Consistent, reliable attendance
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Count location accurately
- Able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed/business dictates
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic math strategies: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency
- A least 18 years of age
- Eligible to work in the United
States
- Excellent attendance record (no
tardies or call-outs),
- Maintain productivity requirements
and
- Positive attitude with a
willingness to learn.
- Bend/Stoop and reach into
stationary totes to retrieve product
- Stand/walk for extended periods of time
- May be exposed to moving
mechanical parts while operating manual pallet jacks or forklift trucks
