The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Business / Financial Analyst , working in Telecommunications industry in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, United States.- Guide the overall strategic and tactical direction for the team, including developing and delivering all financial planning and analysis for the business.
- Manage a team of professionals overseeing all aspects of developing and communicating executive reviews for Actuals, Business Plan, Commitment View, and Best View.
- Identify complex business performance issues and present insights through consolidated internal presentations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing valuable decision support and guidance to executive management.
- Provide strategic financial and operational insights through recurring performance reports, ad-hoc analysis, and performance reviews.
- Partner with the Center of Excellence to establish service level agreements and drive continuous improvements.
- Evaluate business trends and assess monthly and quarterly business performance to drive strategic business analysis.
- Advise on risk and opportunity considerations for managing costs and increasing revenue and profitability.
- Recommend solutions for planning and business performance issues and execute defined action plans.
- Partner with reporting and AI&D teams to streamline information for proper analysis and insights.
- Perform monthly performance reviews of business cases and post-mortem analyses.
- Provide decision support and guidance while leading ad-hoc presentation development and executive reviews.
Our Client
Experience Required for Your Success
- Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics is highly preferred
- 5 years of relevant professional experience, with a strong track record in finance or business analysis
- Expertise in leveraging automation tools for finance, such as SQL, BI platforms, and Excel Macros, to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Proven ability to create compelling presentations using PowerPoint and Google Slides, effectively communicating financial insights and strategies to stakeholders
- Comprehensive experience in financial and business analysis, including developing and interpreting key performance indicators
- Proficiency in designing and managing short-term and long-term financial planning models, supporting strategic decision-making and forecasting
