We're looking for a Travel Registered Nurse, working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Michigan, United States.

We're hiring Travel Registered Nurses in Michigan, offering Med Surg, Telemetry and PCU opportunities. Your specific role will focus on one of these specialties, with tasks centered on providing safe, quality care for patients.

Available location: Alpena, Clare, Midland, Saginaw

Available Roles for Registered Nurses:

Medical-Surgical

• Regularly assesses patient's/client's needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician authorized plan of care, and accepted standards of nursing practice.
  
• Provides direct resident care, including medication administration, treatments, call lights, assisting with transfers, responding to alarms, etc.
  
• Evaluates effectiveness of treatment plan and makes suggestions or participates in updating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members, utilizing current information to improve patient care.
  
• Processes physician/provider orders and performs physician ordered care accurately, completely and in a timely manner.
  
• Follows up regarding medication changes and order clarifications.

Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

• Monitors critical vital signs, detect changes, and perform interventions when required
  
• Provides care to patients who do not require treatment in Intensive Care Units, but whose conditions need constant observation and monitoring

Telemetry:

• Monitors the heart rate and rhythm of patients who require close supervision in a hospital setting
• Uses electrocardiogram (EKG) machines to continuously track heart performance
