The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for an Automation Service Mechanic, working in Manufacturing industry in 500 S Muddy Creek Rd, Denver, Pennsylvania, 17517, United States.

  • Maintain integrity of the process equipment, through preventive maintenance, process improvement, repairs and service response.
  • Work with the Supervisors to ensure the system is running efficiently.
  • Perform Safety Training and Review.
  • Review safe access to equipment and fall protection.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory cycle counts as needed.
  • Maintain the integrity and efficiency of system equipment through preventive maintenance and repairs and process improvement and operational needs.
  • Provide technical diagnostics and hands-on support.
  • Ensure part usage is accounted for, and inventories are maintained.
  • Work alongside outside vendors and 3rd parties.
  • Maintain effective communications with Operations and internal stakeholders.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to pass the assessment (based on skillsets and knowledge about the job in general)
  • Ability to provide your own hand tools. A list will be provided if offer is presented
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, perform repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for maintenance and service procedures
  • Ability to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment
  • Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and heights up to 80ft.
  • Work environment may range in temperatures from 90 to 0 F. Must be able to work in either condition
  • Mental alertness is necessary to ensure safe and accurate completion of work activities
  • Ability to read and comprehend all labeling on hazardous materials and equipment in the facility
  • Must have worked with voltages up to 480 volts
  • Mechanically inclined and have mechanical maintenance and repair skills
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and electrical instrumentation
  • Ability to maintain and repair mechanical components of the system
  • Ability to work with PLC controllers and able to diagnose faults and repair
  • Ability to use and understand computer programs and functionality
  • Ability to learn new information quickly
  • Ability to make fine adjustments to controllers, sensors and switches
  • Ability to communicate, make sound decisions, and work well under pressure
