The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for a Patient Access Specialist , working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Ogdensburg, New York, United States.

  • Greeting and assisting patients: They welcome patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone.
  • Managing Patient information: This includes checking patients in and out, documenting insurance details, personal information, and payment methods.
  • Scheduling and coordinating: They handle appointment scheduling and communicate important information to medical staff.
  • Managing insurance and billing: They contact insurance companies for coverage verification, preapprovals, and handle billing issues.
  • Handling administrative duties: This involves processing payments, managing paperwork, and maintaining accurate patient records
  • Being open to candidates with office and clerical background

Experience Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be able to answer a high volume of inbound calls in an efficient manner
