Description
We're looking for an
Operations Assistant, working in
Electric Power and Natural Gas industry in
San Diego, California, United States.
- Coordinate activities throughout the Beach Cities office to ensure efficiency and maintain compliance with company policy.
- Oversee office schedule, planning events, and scheduling rooms.
- Help with managing agendas and calendars.
- Manage emails, letters, packages, phone calls and other forms of correspondence.
- Support bookkeeping and budgeting procedures.
- Stay organized through Microsoft suite products and tracking via excel.
- Create and update databases and records for financial information, personnel and other data.
- Submit reports and prepare proposals and presentations as needed.
- Assist colleagues whenever there is an opportunity to do so.
Experience Required for Your Success
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in office administration, operations, or as an administrative assistant

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid experience with the full Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Skilled in booking and scheduling for rooms, events, and other resources, with strong attention to detail
- Previous experience in an office setting with front-desk responsibilities, providing consistent support and a welcoming presence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing needs
- Demonstrated clerical abilities including answering calls, responding to emails, and managing scheduling
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain an efficient workspace
