The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for a Travel Registered Nurse, working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Oklahoma, United States.

We are seeking experienced Travel Registered Nurses in Oklahoma across the following specialties: Med-Surg, Med-Surg/Tele, Stepdown, ICU/CVICU/CCU,CVOR, and OR.

In this role, you will focus on one of these specialties, with competitive pay rates that vary based on expertise.

Available assignment locations include Lawton, OK and Norman, OK

Medical-Surgical RN

  • Prepares, administers and records prescribed medications. Changes dressings, inserts catheters, and starts IVs.
  • Adjusts specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interprets and records measurements.
  • Monitors patients' vitals and reports adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.

Stepdown RN

  • Cares for STEMI/NSTEMI, CP rule out, CHF, Noninvasive Ventilation, Cardiothoracic surgery after ICU, antiarrhythmic IV medications, peripheral vascular compromise, etc.

Operating Room (OR) RN

  • Takes care of patients throughout the process of a surgery or medical procedure.
  • Ensures patients are recovering or prepared by providing information on the outcomes or potential outcomes of a procedure.

Cardiovascular OR RN

  • Plans, prepares, and provides individualized peri-operative care utilizing the nursing process.
  • Directs surgery department staff in the care of the surgical patient.
  • Cares for all ages of patients; infant to geriatric.

ICU/CVICU/CCU RN

  • Floats to medical ICU, Surgical ICU, CVICU and neuro ICU. In the event the helicopter cannot fly, we will care for pediatric patients in the unit.

Experience Required for Your Success

General Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience (at least 1 year experience relevant to the specialty)
  • Active OK License (Compact Accepted)
  • Active BLS and ACLS with AHA
  • 2 Supervisory references from the past 12 months of employment
