The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Neurosurgery Coder (Remote), working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Tyler, Texas, United States.- Abstracting and Coding: Accurately abstracting and coding clinical information from inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and professional fee medical records.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with federal regulations and insurance requirements.
- Documentation Review: Reviewing operative reports and progress notes to determine appropriate documentation.
- Data Entry: Entering data accurately into medical office systems and software.
- Communication: Interacting with physicians on coding issues and ensuring that billing systems are up to date and compliant.

Experience Required for Your Success
- At least 1 year experience
- Outpatient and Inpatient experience
- Specialties - Surgery, Cardio, Neuro, Podiatry, OB-GYN
- Must live in one of the following states: Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, or Georgia
