The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for a Neurosurgery Coder (Remote), working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Tyler, Texas, United States.

  • Abstracting and Coding: Accurately abstracting and coding clinical information from inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and professional fee medical records.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with federal regulations and insurance requirements.
  • Documentation Review: Reviewing operative reports and progress notes to determine appropriate documentation.
  • Data Entry: Entering data accurately into medical office systems and software.
  • Communication: Interacting with physicians on coding issues and ensuring that billing systems are up to date and compliant.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • At least 1 year experience
  • Outpatient and Inpatient experience
  • Specialties - Surgery, Cardio, Neuro, Podiatry, OB-GYN
  • Must live in one of the following states: Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, or Georgia
