The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Multi-Modality Radiology Technologist, working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Massachusetts, United States.We're hiring Radiologic Technologists in Massachusetts, offering MRI, Mammography, and Multi-Modality Radiology (CT/X-RAY TECH) opportunities. Your specific role will focus on one of these modalities, with tasks centered on providing critical diagnostic images and supporting patient care.
The pay rate depends on the modality and experience.
Available Roles for Radiologic Technologists:
Multi-Modality Radiology (CT/X-RAY TECH):
- Perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity. Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis. May be assigned independent responsibilities by the Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, or Operations Manager.
- Must have excellent patient care skills. Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and CT
MRI:
- Conduct MRI scans to create detailed images of internal structures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring safety by following magnetic field protocols and administering contrast agents when needed.
Mammography:
- Must have excellent patient care skills. Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and mammography
- Proper care of the client following the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required.
- Is responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel as determined by the Operations Manager or Lead Technologist.
- Practice infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.

Experience Required for Your Success
Requirements:
Multi-Modality Radiology (CT/X-RAY TECH):
- 2 years of current CT/X-Ray experience
- Previous Travel REQUIRED (at least 6 months or more)
- Travelers with current agency experience (at least 6mos to 1 year or more) - REQUIRED (first-time travelers with an agency will not be considered)
- Travelers working a concurrent per diem/prn assignment will not be considered
- Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred
- Travelers must be willing to consider other duties on assignment during low census (within the scope of practice)
- AT LEAST TWO SPECIFIC INTERVIEW DATES/TIMES OF AVAILABILITY FOR THE INTERVIEW MUST BE ADDED TO THE PROFILE - PROFILES WILL NOT BE PRESENTED WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION. "ANYTIME" WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- Traveler must have their vehicle for this need
- Active ARRT and BLS Certification
- State (MA) license
MRI:
- 2 Years of CURRENT MRI experience
- ARRT (MR) Certification
- GE Equipment experience
- Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred
- Covid Vaccination proofs
- Active ARRT and BLS certificate
- State (MA) License
Mammography:
- 2 Years of current Mammography experience
- ARRT (M) (R) Certification
- Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred
- Traveler must have their vehicle for this need
- Covid Vaccination proofs
- Active ARRT and BLS Certificates
- State (MA) License
