The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for an Oracle Customer Care and Billing Sr. Developer, working in Travel, Transport and Logistics industry in Paramus, New Jersey, 07653, United States.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders, business analysts, and architects to gather and analyze requirements and translates them to technical specifications.
  • Writes complex queries, PL/SQL code, and Java code to support the application.
  • Integrates CC&B with other applications using Inbound Web Services.
  • Establishes best practices in alignment with relevant industry, regulatory, and technical requirements.
  • Performs code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure quality of code delivered and adherence to best practices.
  • Follows standards and documents processes, procedures, and technical specifications.
  • Provides technical guidance to other developers.
  • Proactively monitors services, access, availability, performance, and usage.
  • Provides support for production during the day and batch runs at night (on-call).
  • Provides support for Enterprise Projects and Deployment.
  • Stays up to date with the latest Oracle CC&B releases, features, and best practices.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • MinimumBachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 10 years experience in developing and maintaining Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) application
  • Strong proficiency in design and development of Oracle CC&B Customizations: Batch, Algorithms, Change Handlers, UI Maps, Scripts, Business Objects, Business Services, and Inbound Web Services
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming, SQL, and PL/SQL
  • Experience in Hibernate Framework, Weblogic Server, and Scripting Languages (Perl/Shell/Ant)
  • Knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, and XML/JSON data formats
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Gitlab
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Schedulers: Cisco TIDAL or similar applications
  • Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
