We're looking for a
Radiologic Technologist, working in
Healthcare Systems and Services industry in
Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States.
We're hiring Radiologic Technologists in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, across different modalities: CT, Ultrasound, Echo, and X-ray. Your specific role will depend on your area of expertise, with responsibilities tailored to each modality.
Roles Available for Radiologic Technologists:
CT Technologist
- Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images, focusing on internal structures for accurate diagnosis.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure adherence to radiation safety standards.
Ultrasound Technologist
- Perform diagnostic sonographic exams using specialized equipment, covering areas like obstetrics, vascular, and abdominal organs.
- Work closely with physicians to analyze images and provide diagnostic details to patients.
Echo Technologist (Cardiac Sonographer)
- Perform echocardiograms, using ultrasound to assess heart structures and conditions.
- Collaborate with cardiologists to diagnose issues such as heart disease or defects.
X-ray Technologist
- Use X-ray equipment to capture images of bones and tissues, ensuring accurate patient positioning and radiation safety.
- Assist radiologists in diagnosing fractures or tissue abnormalities.

Experience Required for Your Success
Requirements:
CT Technologist:
- 2+ years of current experience in CT in a hospital or clinic setting
- Active certifications: ARRT, BLS
Ultrasound Technologist:
- 2+ years of sonography experience, including vascular and arterial experience
- Active ARDMS certifications in AB, OB/GYN, and RVT
Echo Technologist:
- Experience in cardiology and clinics, with pediatric expertise encouraged
- Ability to float to a hospital setting as needed
X-ray Technologist:
- 2+ years of experience in general radiology, OR experience preferred
- Active BLS, ARRT, and IDPH State Permit certifications
Additional Requirements:
- Complete skills checklist (within 1 year of application)
- Updated resume with work history
- License verification and BLS certificate
- References are preferred and may be required during onboarding
