Salary Range: $20.00-$21.00/hour

As a Resident Service Coordinator you will:

  • Link Residents to Community Resources: Facilitate connections between residents and local services to support their social, psychological and physical needs.
  • Conflict Resolution: Assist in resolving conflicts between residents, family members, and neighbors, promoting a harmonious living environment.
  • Develop Self-Sufficiency Programs: Create and implement programming focused on skills like money management, job readiness, and nutrition to enhance residents' independence.
  • Maintain Resident Relationships: Foster positive collaborative relationships with residents to ensure open communication and address their concerns effectively.
  • Coordinate Reasonable Accommodation Requests: Process and manage requests for accommodations from residents with disabilities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 2 years experience as a Resident Service Coordinator or Case Manager in appropriate facility preferred
  • Experience with networking and relating well with the elderly and underserved populations in an appropriate environment and arranging/coordinating services as needed
  • Understand and have experience with independent living philosophy
  • Knowledge of the American with Disabilities Act
  • Experience advocating and facilitating services for person with disabilities and they elderly
