We're looking for a X-Ray Technologist - Permanent + Relocation Bonus, working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Greenville, South Carolina, United States.

Job Description:

This role is located inGreenville, South Carolina

Under the direction of the Diagnostic Radiology Manager and the Shift Supervisor, the Radiologic Technologist is expected to perform a variety of radiographic procedures applying ionizing radiation. Performance of specific tasks is indicated below for diagnostic purpose according to the department policy.


Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates competency to perform ERCP's, video fluoroscopies, all OR procedures, Lumbar punctures, bronchoscopies, enteroclysis, sialograms, rhizotomy, facet blocks, endoscopy,- J-tube placements or injections, t-tube cholangiogram, major trauma/trauma bay, neo-natal ICU, pacing lab.
  • Performs all critical care procedures.
  • Demonstrates competency in the following procedures (arthrograms, myelograms, venograms, minor trauma and troubleshoot complex studies.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and skill to troubleshoot equipment problems.
  • Demonstrates the ability to obtain nursing assessment while nursing is unavailable.
  • Accesses patient’s condition and level of cooperation and makes appropriate judgment of proper care.
  • Notifies nurse and documents all infiltrates and reactions.
  • Quality checks images before sending to radiologist to include markers, all pertinent information needed for appropriate dictation.
  • Documents additional information in PACS or EPIC as needed before marking ready to read.
  • Demonstrates the ability to restart, program and release air from patient IVAC's.
  • Responds to codes and other emergency situations appropriately.
  • Stays abreast of organizational, affiliate and departmental changes/updates by checking email on each shift.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Certification Program Completion of accredited radiology program
  • No Experience Required

Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses

  • ARRT Registered
  • SCSQRSA License
  • CPR

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Excellent Customer Service and Teamwork Skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)
  • Proficient computer skills (word processing)
  • Data entry
  • PACS
  • EMR
