The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for an
IT Support Specialist (On-site), working in
IT (excluding Telecommunication) industry in
Vernon Hills, Illinois, United States.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, and installations as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of computer equipment.
- Image and deploy desktops and laptops with the latest operating systems and software configurations.
- Configure and set up new hardware and software for end-users.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to streamline imaging and deployment processes.
- Provide technical support for hardware-related incidents, working to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with end-users to gather information on reported problems and offer effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, including tracking and managing stock levels.
- Order and manage the procurement of hardware components and peripherals as required.
- Document all hardware-related processes, troubleshooting steps, and configurations.
- Create and update technical documentation for hardware support procedures.

Experience Required for Your Success
- High School diploma or GED
- A+ Certification or an equivalent combination of education and experience with the ability to demonstrate knowledge
- Imaging experience is aplus
