The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Forklift Operator, working in Engineering/Manufacturing industry in Lakeland, Florida, United States.Our client has immediate openings for a Forklift Operator conveniently located at our Lakeland facility. Our current openings are on 1st shift
We offer medical benefits and salary is $15 per hour based on qualifications.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Pull orders, load and unload freight with forklift.
- Responsible for loading and unloading of containers by hand or forklift.
- Put away stock and all other incoming material.
- Maintain row locations along with keeping the department organized and clean.
- Define problems, collects data, and establishes facts related to orders.
- Unload inbound product from delivering carriers
- Remove product to physical warehouse locations or predetermined destinations.
- Deliver Ups or Fed Ex packages to a proper location.
- Process / sort return goods from customer in a timely manner.
- Communicate with any and all departments when needed.
- Ensure quantity delivered is quantity ordered and product received is not visibly damaged.
- Annotate receiving report numbers on packing slips and distribute to PurchasingDepartment daily.
- Perform other duties assigned by Distribution Manager or Asst. Distribution Manager.

Experience Required for Your Success
- High School diploma or GED
- Forklift Certified
- Forklift Safety Driving Minimum: + 6 Months
- Beginner/Intermediate Computer skills - Calculator; Telephone system, Shredder; Facsimile, Copier
- Intermediate Mathematical Skills
- Ability to speak, read, and write the English Language
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Effective Problem Solving
