We're looking for a Payroll Advisor, working in Staffing/Recruiting industry in Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Job Title: Payroll Advisor

The Payroll Advisor plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while providing exceptional support to both internal teams and external clients. This role involves managing payroll-related inquiries, collaborating with various departments to resolve issues, and maintaining up-to-date payroll records. The ideal candidate will have strong mathematical skills, proficiency in payroll systems, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll for multiple clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Handle the full payroll cycle, including calculations, deductions, and disbursements.
    • Issue Resolution: Collaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO) and other departments to efficiently resolve payroll-related concerns, such as discrepancies, tax issues, and employee inquiries.
    • Client and Employee Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from clients and employees.
    • Data Management: Utilize various payroll and HR tools to manage and input essential and accurate payroll data, including employee background information, salary, bonuses, and deductions.
    • Compliance: Ensure payroll activities comply with company policies, labor laws, and tax regulations.
    • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.
    • Auditing: Conduct regular audits of payroll records and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to support overall business objectives. Adapt to changing priorities and assist with special projects as needed.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multi-client or large-scale environment.
  • 2 years of experience in Talent Management or recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) is required.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Bullhorn) and MS Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits, and onboarding processes.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to create and understand spreadsheet reports
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in client-facing roles.
  • Must be willing to work on a night shift schedule and be on a hybrid work arrangement in Ayala, Makati.
