The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a
Mechanical Assembler, working in
Oil and Gas industry in
Houston, Texas, 77040, United States.
- Perform various operations including but not limited to; disassembly, inspection and reassembly of rotating equipment including gas turbines units, and centrifugal compressors from multiple OEM's.
- Maintain a Safety-first mindset.
- Demonstrate familiarity with hand, pneumatic and hydraulic tooling Accurately use precision measuring equipment (ID / OD / depth micrometers, calipers, etc.).
- Work as a team member to follow detailed work routers for inspection and repair of units and rotating equipment while under demanding time constraints.
- Provide On-Site support as needed.

Experience Required for Your Success
- High School Diploma or equivalent diploma
- Must have mechanical background
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material moving equipment
- Ability to identify and use all tools used to rig up and rig down tests in the test lab
- Abilityto comprehend and know job duties when working together with other lab employees.
- Ability to perform job duties without being told what to do next or what tool to use, must be a self-motivator.
- Ability to perform job duties in a timely manner.
- Ability to perform all housekeeping duties in the test lab
