Machine Operator, working in

Our Client had immediate openings for experienced Machine Operator at our manufacturing facility conveniently located in Bedford Park, IL.
Our current opening schedules offer improved work-life balance. We offer medical, dental, vision and 401 (k) benefits as well as earned PTO. Salary is $17 per hour based on qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor food processing and packaging machinery according to standard operating procedures.
- Set up machinery and ensure it is calibrated properly for each production run.
- Monitor production line to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and address any issues or malfunctions.
- Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain optimal production efficiency and quality.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts, to keep machinery in good working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation, including batch records and machine logs.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production problems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines.

Experience Required for Your Success
- A high school diploma or GED
- Proven experience operating industrial machinery, hand tools, and measuring devices
- Familiarity with the production process and environment
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication
- An ability to lift at least 50 pounds
