The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Remote Cloud Engineer, working in IT (excluding Telecommunication) industry in Fort Collins, Colorado, United States.- Deploys, configures, and manages Kubernetes clusters and related services on AWS and/or a customer cloud
- Uses Helm and Operators to automate the deployment and management of applications and resources on Kubernetes
- Ensures the availability, scalability, and performance of Kubernetes clusters and applications
- Implements best practices and standards and troubleshoots and resolves issues related to Kubernetes
- Mentors and trains other team members on the best practices used for implementing and deploying on Kubernetes

Experience Required for Your Success
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in Kubernetes and AWS
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes concepts, architecture, and components
- Hands-on experience with EKS, Helm, and Operators
- Proficient in scripting languages, such as Bash, Python, or Go Experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitLab or GitHub Actions
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus and Grafana
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work remotely and independently
- Certification in AWS or Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience with Hashicorp Vault Agent is a plus
- Experience with Service Mesh and API Gateway is a plus
