We're looking for a
Clamp Operator , working in
Staffing/Recruiting industry in
Carrollton, Texas, United States.
Our client has immediate openings for a Clamp Operators conveniently located at Carrollton facility. Our current openings are on 1st shift from 6 AM-7 PM, Thursday, Friday and Saturday schedule.
We offer medical benefits and salary is up to $19 per hour based on qualifications.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Delegate tasks to team of forklift drivers.
- Train new forklift drivers to department processes.
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements; arranging for repairs.
- Arrange Shipments by examining destination, route, rate, delivery time; dispatches to carriers
- Operate powered industrial lift trucks (MHE/forklift) and order picker to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment, and materials
- Use an RF gun with a high level of accuracy
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them to assigned places.
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
- Load and unload trailers as required
- Adhere to the client program and maintain a clean environment at all times
- Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence
- Demonstrate an understanding of the client's Supply Chain quality policy
- Perform inbound receiving/outbound process
- Coordinate & expedite requests, time-specific pickups and deliveries and other special requests.
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations Handle order processing and order fulfillment.

Experience Required for Your Success
Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to work independently.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from Supervisor or Lead.

Ability to work in a variety of climates and conditions; warehouse facilities that are hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Accurate data entry skills.
- Must be detail-oriented

Has keen knowledge of logistics operations

Able to work in multicultural environment & Required Shift work (1st / 2nd / 3rd)

Ability to work in a team environment while delivering independent results

Must be able to work as assigned outside and in a warehouse environment.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Must have experience using a sit down MHE/forklift, preferably within the last year.
