The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for a Machinist, working inOil and Gas industry inJacksonville, Florida, 32221, United States.

  • Read and interpret documents such as Drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and working structures.
  • Review and study drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
  • Apply working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T).
  • Conduct inspection, start up and continuous observations during machining to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls as required, or as directed by the manufacturing engineer.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Machinist trade school or equivalent training preferred.
  • Must be able to operate Mazak Lathes and program with Mazatrol
  • Ability to run CNC mills and/or lathes.
  • Ability to read/run G-code and/or Mazatrol.
  • Ability to read drawings and interpret of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T)
  • Possible forklift or crane usage
  • Have a proactive attitude to work.
  • Have the ability to be self-sufficient on day-to-day operations
  • Have CNC Machinist experience preferably.
