The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Remote Financial Analyst, working in IT (excluding Telecommunication) industry in Colorado, United States.- Processes monthly working files for invoice submissions
- Updates internal systems with financial data
- Participates in financial audits
- Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Keeps accurate records for all fleet and financial decisions
- Prepares and monitors budgets and financial forecasts
- Updates internal systems; reconciliation of fleet
- Provides moderately complex financial analysis that is either transactional or analytical for a financial function or a business.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to actively ensure financial analysis needs are met.
- Handles more complex business issues.
- Provides analytics to business initiatives.
- Develops a deeper understanding of internal financial processes and a detailed knowledge of the business.

Experience Required for Your Success
Education and Experience Required:
- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics recommended or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst. May have experience in more than one finance function.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
- Advanced MS Excel skills Advanced Access
- Database skills Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior leadership
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
- Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc
- Basic understanding of accounting processes and principles.
