The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Forklift Operator, working in Manufacturing industry in Brookfield, 60513.Our Client has immediate openings for experienced Forklift Operator at our manufacturing facility conveniently located in Dallas, Texas.
Our current openings are on All shifts, with schedules that offer improved work-life balance. Salary is up to $18/hour based on qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and move them to designated storage areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize merchandise in a neat and efficient manner to optimize space utilization.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping floors, removing debris, and disposing of trash.
- Inspect forklifts and other equipment regularly and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Assist in other warehouse tasks such as receiving, shipping, and inventory control as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and productivity.

Experience Required for Your Success
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and best practices.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines at all times.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
