Description
We're looking for a Machine Operator, working in Manufacturing industry in Chicago, 60608.Our current openings are on the 1st shift, with schedules that offer improved work-life balance. Salary is up to $22/hour based on qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Operate dough mixing and processing equipment according to standard operating procedures
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately to ensure the proper consistency and quality of the dough
- Monitor the dough mixing process, adjusting settings as needed to achieve the desired results
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to keep machines running smoothly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the production area to ensure food safety compliance
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Experience Required for Your Success
- Proven experience as a Dough Machine Operator or similar role in a bakery or food production environment.
- Knowledge of dough mixing and processing equipment, including mixers, dividers, and rounders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy bags of ingredients.
- Basic math skills for measuring and weighing ingredients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
