The Opportunity

Description

We're looking for a Test Administrator, working in Admin/Clerical industry in Fort Worth.

  • Receive training and administer State tests (STAAR) myto students who attend state funded virtual school.
  • Travel to test site.
  • Take attendance for your classroom and report absences to site coordinator.
  • Read instructions to students/answer questions.
  • Actively monitor students while they are taking the test.
  • Complete seating charts.
  • Accurately code test information on answer documents.
  • Ensure test security according to guidelines provided during training.
  • Monitor testing room.
  • Act as a hall monitor.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
  • Prior experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational, childcare, or related setting is highly desirable
  • Experience administering assessments or tests that involve child assessment or evaluation is advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with preschool-aged children, parents, teachers, and other professionals
  • Flexible to work where needed on testing dates
  • Punctuality/Dependability/Ethics; an individual must be able to commit to being at the test site on the dates indicated during the times needed
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer access/knowledge to respond to emails and attend online training sessions
  • Ability to travel to/from local testing site
  • Ability to pass 7-year criminal background check
