The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Packaging Machine Operator, working in Manufacturing industry in Lewisville, Texas, United States.Our clienthas immediate openings for experienced machine operators at our manufacturing facility conveniently located in Lewisville, TX.The Packaging Machine Operator role is responsible for the mixing and packaging of various liquid and solid raw materials to produce a finished product of high quality that is ready for shipment to the customer. This role is also responsible for the achievement of production, safety, and quality goals as outlined by their supervisor.
Our current openingsare on the 1st and 2nd shift, with schedules that offer improved work-life balance. Current schedule is 12-hour shifts, 3. 5 days/week (42 hour scheduled work week) with opportunities for additional OT.We offer medical, dental, vision and 401 (k) benefits as well as earned PTO.
Responsibilities:
- Operate various filling and packaging equipment including liquid fillers and form-fill and seal machines and follow mix ticket instructions to accurately weigh and add raw materials to batches.
- Follow instructions on fill tickets when packaging product as well as observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products, completing all finished good quality checks as required on batch ticket.
- Provide direction to assigned team and record necessary data on all batch tickets.
- Experience with Scale, Packaging, and bagger machines.
- Be responsible for proper machine operation, troubleshooting, routine maintenance, control of finished product
- Document all required quality and performance parameters of the machinery and production line.
- Quality inspections of finished products prior to packing Communication with supervisor(s) relative to quality, mechanical or personnel issues

Experience Required for Your Success
- Candidates should have 2-5 years’ direct experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience in operating machines designed for form-filling processes in production.
- Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures and safety regulations in accordance with GMPs.
- Strong mechanical and maintenance background
- Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment in a timely manner.
- Proven history of good attendance and adherence to safety rules
